Coronaversation Hearts for a Very Quarantined Valentine’s Day
Valentine’s Day 2021 is strange and so are my friends and I. Which is why we collaborated to create these Coronaversation Heart ‘curbside pickup lines’ in honor of the very strange times we’re living in.
At the (oh no) *heart* of the project was the hope to bring some levity to these dark times and ideate what kind of flirting and romance looks like under quarantine. (Psst: I firmly believe you can take a lighthearted approach to a topic without making light of it and that comedy and humor are a helpful form of healing.)
The Fever Dream Team as they call us (okay no one calls us that yet) behind the magic is Maggie Enterrios on lead guitar, err illustration, Elizabeth Grey on drums, I mean lettering/box design, and yours truly on the tambourine/copy. As you can clearly see, these two artists are absolute powerhouses and there’s nothing that tickles me more than seeing absurd comedy content designed beautifully.
We hope that in addition to making you laugh, you take to (oh no here it comes again) *heart* the importance of ISOL8-ing, wearing a CUTE MASK, and making science go viral.
Here is the full list of every single Covid-19/Valentine’s pun I wrote for the hearts:
